TECOLS builds practical geospatial solutions for real-world decisions. We work at the intersection of GIS, LiDAR, digital twins, and spatial analysis, helping clients turn complex spatial data into clear, usable intelligence. Our work is rooted in geomatics, GIS and BIM integration, LiDAR scanning, 3D mapping, and digital twin development. We specialize in transforming terrain, infrastructure, and built environments into accurate digital models that support planning, operations, maintenance, and long-term decision-making. Whether the challenge is mapping a site, integrating geospatial and design data, or building a digital workflow around changing conditions, TECOLS focuses on solutions that are reliable, scalable, and useful in practice.

Today, a major focus of TECOLS is the development of terrain digital twins for ski and bike resorts. This direction combines high-resolution LiDAR, spatial analytics, weather and operational data, and guest-focused applications to support safer operations, more efficient maintenance, and better year-round resort experiences. The goal is not just to create beautiful 3D models, but to build working tools that help resorts manage terrain, trails, hazards, closures, patrol access, and guest navigation across both winter and summer seasons.

    With over 20 years of experience, Maria has worked extensively in spatial data analysis, local government, and engineering, making significant contributions to the field. A published author, speaker, and researcher, she is recognized for bridging the gap between engineering, architecture, and cutting-edge digital technologies. Her work focuses on developing sustainable, resilient infrastructure that balances environmental responsibility with long-term durability.

    Maria holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and remains committed to advancing innovation in smart construction and infrastructure solutions.

    Kirill is a Geospatial Specialist with extensive expertise in GIS, remote sensing, and database management. With a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems and over eight years of experience, he has worked across environmental research, utilities, and construction management, applying spatial intelligence to optimize operations and decision-making.

    His work involves managing geospatial projects, leading teams, and streamlining workflows to enhance efficiency. He has played a key role in large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and improving resource allocation. His expertise includes analyzing environmental changes using UAV, LiDAR, and satellite imagery, as well as developing and managing GIS databases for spatial analysis.

    Kirill has also contributed to scientific research, publishing work in the field of geospatial studies. His deep understanding of data-driven decision-making makes him a valuable asset in delivering high-quality, precise, and innovative geospatial solutions.

    GIS SPECIALIST, GEOSPATIAL ANALYST

    Violetta is a GIS specialist and geospatial analyst with extensive experience in remote sensing, photogrammetry, and LiDAR data processing. With over seven years in the field, she has applied advanced geospatial technologies across infrastructure, utilities, market analysis, and environmental planning, supporting data-driven decision-making and improving mapping accuracy.

    Her expertise includes UAV surveying, GPS telemetry, LiDAR processing, and spatial analysis, enabling precise data collection and analysis for large-scale projects. She has played a key role in developing and optimizing geospatial databases, automating workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

    In addition to her professional work, Violetta has contributed to scientific research on environmental dynamics and geospatial modeling, particularly in Arctic ecosystems and urban development. She has published multiple peer-reviewed studies, advancing the understanding of spatial data applications in environmental and urban planning.

    Connie is a Cultural Anthropologist and Historian specializing in GIS and 3D GIS to support the preservation of cultural and physical history. She brings her passion for technology to the fields of historical preservation and archaeology, striving to mitigate the damage caused by time and natural disasters.

    Connie’s previous career in business and technology provided her with valuable experience supporting various state and local agencies, municipalities, and Fortune 500 companies. This background gives her a strong business foundation that she brings to TECOLS.

    Connie holds a B.S. in Cultural Anthropology. Her dedication to preserving the past and promoting disaster mitigation at local, state, and federal levels was inspired by witnessing her friends and neighbors lose their lives and livelihoods in the California wildfires.

  • Wyatt Robinson

    GIS SPECIALIST

    Wyatt is a skilled professional specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to uncover insights and solve complex spatial challenges. He holds a B.S. in Geography and a Certificate of Proficiency in GIS from Utah Valley University.

    His experience includes tutoring university students and conducting research as an assistant at the Gary R. Herbert Institute for Public Policy, where he contributed to analyzing land cover changes across Utah. Wyatt has also worked with regional and municipal governments, providing spatial solutions to address various planning and management needs.

    He is proficient in processing diverse 3D remote sensing data, including LiDAR and photogrammetry, and is highly skilled in utilizing a broad range of Esri products. Wyatt’s analytical expertise and technical skills make him a valuable asset in applying geospatial technologies to real-world projects.

  • Alexandra Akhmatova

    ARCHITECT, PROJECT MANAGER

    Alexandra is a professional architect with extensive experience in design and construction project management. Her expertise includes creating projects in Autodesk Revit, house remodeling, developing visualizations, and overseeing projects from contract signing to handover.

    Over the years, she has successfully delivered projects of varying complexity across multiple countries, including large-scale commercial and residential developments. Her work involves close collaboration with designers, contractors, and suppliers, as well as assisting in obtaining construction permits from administrative authorities.
